Lt Gen Balbir Singh Sandhu believes in Leadership through the horse's mouth. Carrying the values of the soldier, he envisions to make sports the game-changer towards leadership building. He emphasized on awakening the soldier in you and playing life like a sport; where a goal is a goal and a foul is a foul. Lt Gen Balbir Singh Sandhu is an alumnus of NDA, was commissioned in Dec 1978 and superannuated in 2017. He has served extensively in counter-insurgency areas. Also, he is an outstanding sportsman, who has played polo for the Indian Polo Association (IPA) and Indian Army teams. He is currently the Vice President of IPA. He is a good golfer and is on the management committee of the Delhi Golf Club. Lt Gen Balbir Singh Sandhu is an alumnus of National Defence Academy (NDA), was commissioned in Dec 1978 and superannuated in2017. During his army career, he held all important appointments and attended all prestigious courses. He has served extensively in counter-insurgency areas. He has been an instructor at the NDA and Defence Services Staff College. An outstanding sportsman who has played polo for the Indian Polo Association(IPA) and Indian Army teams. He is currently the Vice President Of IPA. He is a good golfer and is on the management committee of the Delhi Golf Club.
